I am glad I am a Shaft Ho and didn't give up on Steelfibers after playing 95 s-flex shafts and finding them too stout and could not sell them fast enough. I am a long time Recoil player and absolutely love the Recoil Prototype shafts. I haver to admit I am surprised by the Steelfiber 95 r-flex shafts in my T100-S irons. * I tried several steel dampening inserts including Sensicore, Pro Soft and a few home made inserts but none of them had any effect on my tendonitis. Fwiw, while I have played 110's in both, but I have no experience with lighter weight Recoil or Steelfiber shafts. For me at least performance is virtually identical between Steelfiber and Recoil Prototypes with feel being the difference while regular Recoil 95s are a little easier to load and unload but still very accurate. Great performance and a soft feel that is very non steel. If you like the dampened feel of graphite the Recoils are hard to beat. I think they are the perfect shaft for someone that prefers steel (or thinks they prefer steel) but want the advantages of graphite. Steelfibers are very popular on the LPGA Tour which more closely resembles most of our golf swings. This is one of the reasons they are so successful on all the tours where they grew up playing steel and after hitting thousands/millions of shots they made the switch. The Recoils have an obvious dampened feel that is nothing like steel while the Steelfibers have a feel somewhere between steel and graphite but closer to steel imo. That said, I find the feel quite different. I would compare the Steelfiber i95's in r-flex to Recoil 95 F4 (s-flex). After talking with the Engineers at Aerotech, I went to r-flex and the results were much better. I originally tried to play Steelfiber 95's in s-flex which played like x-flex for me and I sold them after 2 rounds. But I have a set of Recoil Prototype 95's on standby for my next set so I wish I could check both. I hope I don't skew your poll as I am playing Steelfiber 95's in my T100-S at the moment. Elbow tendonitis was the cause of my switching to graphite* but performance and feel was the reason I never went back to steel. I don't think there is any doubt that graphite reducers vibration and that effects our joints. Capturing the name ensures that the security of delivery is maintained whilst avoiding the need for the customer to physically sign. Where a safe place is not possible, couriers will still knock on the door but rather than asking for the customer to sign, couriers will ask the customer for their name, input this into their hand-held device and then write “Covid-19” in the signature box.Where a safe place is possible, couriers will deliver to that safe place, take a photo to confirm safe delivery and then provide the customer with a calling card stating that safe place. For those customers who do not divert, some couriers have put in place a temporary process for our signature deliveries which couriers will follow to ensure contact is minimised. We are encouraging all customers to use the alternative delivery options available to them myPlaces, Diversions and Safe Place for example, which means that they do not have to receive their parcel direct from the courier or sign for it.40 TON Carbon Fiber and Maximum Carbon Fiber Content provides increased stability, distance and feel.Innovative “CAGE” design in the outer wall structure creates thinner, lighter walls providing the same feel and control of heavier shafts.Designed using High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) technology for faster shaft tip acceleration to the ball, providing optimal spin regardless of ball flight.Geared towards the performance golfer looking to keep the ball flighted down (low trajectory) with low spin.ATMOS is a true tour flighted line of shafts with a simple color coding – red as the higher launching, blue as mid launch, black as the lowest launch – similarities include keeping the handle flexes the same for feel, but adjusting mid and tip sections for launch and spin to achieve your desired ball flight. Recognizing that Tour professionals need to keep the ball flighted down with low spin and that these players have a variety of different swing types and clubhead combinations, it was essential to engineer a variety of options to optimize performance.ĪTMOS Tour Spec line is geared towards the performance golfer looking to keep the ball flighted down with low spin. The development of ATMOS Tour Spec was an extensive process by which critical player feedback and fitting needs were at the forefront. ATMOS Tour Spec is the culmination of key learnings from more than two decades of tour-driven products.
